I sing mainstream music from the 30's to the 90's, and originals at conventions, fund-raisers, private parties and for special events. I can sing for 4 hours straight if that's what you need!
I sing traditional gospel music, contemporary praise and worship, and originals and I have a full-time ministry. I speak and sing in churches, prisons, teen conferences, and women's events. I am so grateful to God for allowing me to do what I do, and I give Him all the glory!

Anyone who knew me before 1996 doesn't know me now. I am not who I was then. I made the choice to follow God and little by little He began to "Break the Chains" of my past and set me FREE! I have been completely changed. I have a loving marriage, good health, 3 chart-topping original songs and a job that I am passionate about. I'm living the abundant life that Jesus promises to all of us. If you are struggling in any way, don't give up! God helped me and He will do the same for you!
I know what fear, insecurity and loneliness feel like. I understand sorrow and loss. My parents divorced, my Dad remarried and my mother died all before I was 5 years old. I accepted Jesus as my Savior at 12, believing He would save me from some difficult circumstances I was going through. Many things happened that sent me crashing into a depression and I tried to kill myself when I was 13. I continued praying and trying to know more about God. Later that year I wrote my first song using my brothers guitar. I sang my song about the crucifixion, one Sunday at church. People started crying, then I started crying and when the pastor got up he was crying! He said that morning God told him to change his sermon and preach about.....the crucifixion! I really felt connected to God and like there was a reason I was born. Many years passed before I felt that way again.
I left home at 16, feeling like God never rescued me. I didn't trust Him or anyone else. In my mind I had tried the "God thing" and it hadn't worked. I moved from Spokane, Washington to California to Baja, Mexico, where for 10 years I wrote music and sang in resorts and bars with my husband at the time. I was having a blast in many ways. I did it all...drinking, drugs, and partying all the time. There were also times that I felt depressed and angry and didn't know why. My 10 year marriage ended, and left me feeling empty and with no sense of purpose.
In 1995, I got a call from a friend that changed the course of my life. He said my music would be used by God to touch the lives of countless millions one day. I said " I don't write that kind of music" and he said, "You will." That feeling of being connected to God came rushing back to me, and one single tear ran down my face. That friend, Jerry Ashley, became my husband in 1997. I thank God every day for him.
In 2003, eight years after that call, a song I wrote called "I Have a Father went out to the world! More of my songs are on radio now, and I have a full-time ministry singing and speaking. My only desire is to share the love of God and to encourage every one to pursue our King with all their hearts! Get to know Him by reading the Bible, realize who you are in Christ (Romans 8), and live the abundant life that God wants us all to have. God is still working on me, but I'm thankful He loves me just the way I am, on the way to being all He wants me to be. I'm not who I was, and I'm so grateful for that! I trust God now, and because of His strength in me, I'm fearless and I'm free!
